The Allen Township Fire Department is staffed with highly trained fire personnel twenty four hours per day, seven days a week. Firefighters work twenty four hour shifts, the schedule is made up of three shifts beginning at 0730 and ending at 0730.

Two full-time Paramedics and one EMT Intermediate per shift. Shifts also include two part-time employees. The department currently has fourteen Paramedics, one EMT Intermediate, and five EMT Basics on the part-time roster.
